Molded pulp egg packaging demand expands in South-East Asia continuously

According to the FMI report, East & South Asia will contribute a share of approximately 50% in the global egg packaging market. The molded fiber material segment is estimated to expand at a CAGR of 6% in the egg packaging market during 2019-2029.
The growth of adoption rate of molded fiber is attributed to increasing egg production and preference for eco-friendly and biodegradable packages from the market, Molded pulp packaging manufacturing plants in South-East Asia are estimated to launch or expand, especially in China, India etc.
According to the study by the Food & Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the largest egg producer China is producing over 30 million tonnes of eggs annually . The egg cartons demand with a premium look with more space for branding in China will increase ,with improving modern retail penetration .
India is third in global egg production, its leading provider of molded fiber fruit & egg packaging plans to expand molded-fiber packaging production , expansion is expected to be completed by 2020 .
